What a Success!
This year our annual bottle drive ran for two weeks in April. In this short time, our hard-working volunteers made 20 business stops and 129 residential pick-ups! In addition to donations made in-person at the Canmore and Banff Bottle Depots, and the amazing BBQ dinner hosted by the Lake Louise Inn, a total of $6,605.25 was raised! Wow!
This means that since January 1st, $9,359.55 has been raised from donated recyclables for the dogs and cats of the Bow Valley SPCA! While not part of our official Spring Bottle Drive, these year-round donations certainly add up and make a difference!
A huge thanks to every one who contributed donations and time to our Spring Bottle Drive. We are so grateful for the support of the Bow Valley community: businesses, residents and volunteers alike. A special thanks to the Lake Louise Inn for their charity dinner, and a huge shout-out to the Canmore Bottle Depot and The Green Bottle Depot Banff for sorting and counting the many bags of refundables!
