SPCA Education Committee members visit Soul Warmers Club at Elizabeth Rummel School

Tuesday Dec 15, 2015 the Bow Valley SPCA was invited to the Soul Warmers Club at Elizabeth Rummel School.   The students in this Club chose the BVSPCA as the charity of choice for a project where they made and sold items to raise funds for SPCA.  

Students were introduced to Creed (the first successfully adopted dog at BVSPCA), his companion Pam Doyle, Dawna Evans, and  Roberta Richardson, all volunteers with the Education component of BVSPCA. Creed was . Students learned the importance of giving a dog space.  They engaged in conversation about  pet responsibility and life span of animals.   

Soul Warmers, presented a donation to BVSPCA to help in the care of our animals.  These students are warm Souls that showed empathy for homeless dogs and cats, and displayed the best of manners and respect to all present.  Image by Pam Doyle,
