Ready, Set, Launch!

On Saturday July 6, 2024 we joined The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company at the Grizzly BBQ Beer Garden for the launch of this year's benefit brew, Nine Lives.

What can we say? It was such a treat! With beautiful weather, good company and flavourful brew there was little more we could ask for to bring in the summer and celebrate the generosity and kindness of our community.

Nine Lives is a quirky sour ale celebrating a nostalgic fruit blend. It features a sweet label with nine of our cats, who are a little older or have a medical condition. These types of cats typically see lower adoption rates and interest but both The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company and BVSPCA believe each and every one of these cats deserves, and will find, a furr-ever home.

We are so grateful to The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company and their team for making this brew to help the abandoned, stray and surrendered dogs and cats of the Bow Valley, and to bring awareness to those 'special' pets who are often overlooked.
