Thu, 15 Nov 2018
On November 14, 2018, grade 3 students of Madame Delormes class at Elizabeth Rummel School had a special guest visit their class--Zeus, a 4 year old German Shepherd cross who was a recent resident of BVSPCA. Meghan, the Administrator at the Bow Valley SPCA, adopted this sweet dog who had spent most of his life living outdoors. He was found living under a deck with his face full of porcupine quills. Students learned how this adoption Changed the Lives of both Meghan and Zeus.
Educators from the BVSPCA shared other stories of dogs and cats whose lives were changed after finding their forever homes. Students will learn more on pet responsibility when they tour the Adoption Centre and meet more special animals.
