Grade 3 Students at Elizabeth Rummel School Meet Treble

Grade 3 Students at Elizabeth Rummel School met Treble, a Newfoundland/Cross who is a resident at and ambassador for the Bow Valley SPCA.  Ms.Nadine Delorme's class, and student ambassadors representing the school, chose  the Bow Vallwy SPCA as a class Project.  Students will write a story of the challenges and possible scenario's animals have endured before arriving at the Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre.

 

Students learned about Treble's journey from NWT, where he spent the majority of his 5 years tied up outside. Students showed respect, love and empathy for this special dog,  They learned the importance of pet responsibility and humane treatment, and how  many of these scenarios could have been prevented. 

 

Question and Answer period proved our youth possess compassion and hope in their ability to share their knowledge about Animal Welfare within the  Community.
