Grade 3 French Immersion Students Visit The Adoption Centre

Madame Delorme's Grade 3 class came for a tour of Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre on Dec. 12.

24 students, 3 parents, 1 teacher, 1 BVSPCA volunteer, and 2 BVSPCA staff were involved with the visit. The students visited resident animals and learned the stories of the animals journey before arriving at BVSPCA.   

The students are learning about pet responsibility, human treatment and the importance of choosing the right pet for their family's lifestyle.

Then, a week later, 2 BVSPCA volunteers visited the class and listened to 24 student's stories.
