On Monday Nov 13, 2017 the Canmore Leadership Class from Canmore Collegiate High School toured the Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre, home of the Bow Valley SPCA. Students had previously met Treble, a resident dog, when he visited their class. Meeting him again, students and their teacher Ms. Murphy participated in teaching Treble some basic manners like sit, and down. Playing with and meeting resident cats was another highlight of this tour.
Leadership is about teaching others; the class will take on a project involving the creation of a poster on Pet Overpopulation and the importance of Spay and Neuter.
