Bow Valley SPCA Participates in 5th Annual Festival of Trees

Dr. Jonathan Bagley poses with Bow Valley SPCA volunteers  Roberta Richardson and Dawna Evans at the  Sponsorship  Luncheon on December 5, for the 5th Annual Festival of Trees.   Roberta is holding a poster of the Five Freedoms that Canmore Collegiate created for the SPCA.   Also, the tree has wood medallions done by the Banff Community High School, Woodworking Class with the five freedoms burned into them. 

According to Richardson, This is an outstanding opportunity to educate residents and guests about the proper and humane treatment of animals.  The fact that local students helped create the decorations and Dr Bagley provided the funds to sponsor a tree for the SPCA speaks volumes about the community spirit and support for saving animals, one dog and cat at a time.

Dr. Bagley sponsorsed the cost of the tree for the Bow Valley SPCA.  Proceeds from the Festival go to the Canmore Rotary club.
