Bob Goes to Puppy Class

Monday Oct 30: Bob an 11 week old  Rottweiler Cross, mixed breed enjoyed his first puppy class. Adopted at the Adoption Event, Saturday Oct 21 at Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre, home of Bow Valley SPCA, Bob was  one of Ezra's pups from the Doggie Dozen. Bob was introduced to other pups ranging in age from 2-5 months. Classes are held every  Monday night at Bow River Veterinary Clinic from 6:00 to 7:00PM and focus on socialization, dog-dog and dog-people.   Bow Valley SPCA volunteers facilitate the classes educating human companions on the importance of socialization; as well as learning the importance of bite inhibition development.  Bob is well socialized after spending 10 weeks with his 10 siblings under the care of  staff and volunteers at Bow Valley SPCA. His socialization will continue as he meets new play mates and people each week.
