A Great Surprise Visit

Sonya White, Adoption Centre Manager, sent this note:  I was in a meeting in the Board Room when the front door opened and a friendly looking dog walked in. He had a big cheque in the shape of a bone around his neck!  He had his “dad” Jim with him to explain!  He said that his dog, Nook, had a donation for the Bow Valley SPCA!  What a lovely surprise!  Jim Kwan is the  owner of Defending Awesome and is also the Manager of the Spaghetti Factory in Banff. He and his staff of over 110 held a Fundraiser on January 14, 2015. They gathered prizes from local businesses and sold raffle tickets at their staff Christmas party. They decided to donate all the money raised (over $600) to support the cats and dogs of the Bow Valley SPCA! 

We were thrilled to be the recipients of their generosity!  Many lost, injured, and abandoned cats and dogs will benefit from this team effort of kindness and compassion!
