Our job is to MAKE A DIFFERENCE and CHANGE LIVES for the abandoned dogs and cats that come into our care and the families who adopt them. Our success in being able to keep our doors open for the last 14 years is founded in our ability to connect with people and demonstrate our caring values. We have been both warmly welcomed and very literally supported by our local Bow Valley community for the last 14 years. Individual and corporate financial gifts have accounted for us being able to cover approximately three quarters of our annual expenses every year and keep our doors open.

The Corporate Wins:

We are an organization built on local volunteers who are animal advocates loyal to our vision. 90% of these volunteers live, work and shop here in the Bow Valley. Last year, we logged a staggering 17,000 hours of volunteer time! Corporate support of our organization does not go un-noticed. You are seen!
Our volunteers enable us to run a significant community outreach program in which we get out into our community – to schools, care homes, hospitals, special events – where we promote the values of animal compassion and responsible pet ownership. We are seen!
We run education programs for local pet owners and new volunteers in which we promote caring and compassionate ways to connect with our pets – essential life skills classes, puppy socialization classes, specialty classes for difficult pets, seminars. We help our community!
Our website receives approximately 3,600 visitors a month. Our monthly Facebook reach is in the order of 9,500 people and specific posting reach ranges from 500 to 2000, with most being around a 1,000 people. Our Instagram account has 2800 followers. Our monthly newsletter has 1700 subscribers. We are popular!
