We are pleased to announce that Sybil was adopted on Dec. 5, 2024

When Sybil arrived, she was a very timid cat who preferred to spend her hours hiding behind blankets and in corners. She was unsure of the world and of people, but slowly she began to peek out of her shell: enjoying sprawling in sunbeams, warming up to gentle petting and grooming, and finding open, cozy beds to longue in. After six months of waiting for her furrever, we were thrilled when one of our very own BVSPCA family members decided to take Sybil home! Within just two days, this sweet lady is adjusting well, giving soft eyes, enjoying affection from her new family and slowly exploring. Congratulations to Sybil, who gets to spend Christmas in the full comforts of a home!

Hey there, I'm Sybil, and I'm ready to start a new chapter here in the Rocky Meowtains! I am a timid girl who likes peace and tranquility. What better place to find that than the serenity of the mountains? I'm a bit of an introverted kitty right now, but although I'm shy, I am really very sweet and in the right environment am sure to come out of my shell and show my true colours. I've heard the SPCA staff call me "plump" but I've got to say I prefer the term "voluptuous." Whatever you call it, my new home should help me slim down so that I can be the best version of myself. I hope someone will come along soon and take a chance on a shy kitty; once we feel safe, we make the very best companions!
