About Sundae
Hi there, I'm Sundae! I arrived here with my mom, and my two siblings. I'm really looking forward to starting the search for an amazing forever home! I am a petite and dainty little lady who has lots of love to share for someone that will give me time to come out of my shell. I can be a little bit skittish, but if you approach me slowly, you'll see how much I love chin scratches and gentle head pets. I'll lean right on in to the scritchies, and I'll even reward you with a purr if you approach me just right. I have super soft fur, and the sweetest little pink nose and toe beans to match. I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which you can read more about in the "care notes" below. The longer I'm here, the braver I've become, and I think in no time I'll be soaking up all the affection you'll give me. I think I'm a secret snugglebug - you'll have to take me home and find out for yourself!
Dog-friendly: Untested, likely yes with slow introductions
Cat-friendly: Yes (additional considerations due to being FIV positive)
Kid-friendly: Yes
Do I Need Special Care?: I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a condition that may lead to a weakened immune system. I will need regular veterinary visits to make sure I am staying healthy. The staff can tell you more about what it means to adopt a cat that is FIV positive, but you should know that FIV positive cats can lead long and healthy lives!
Interested?! Please fill out our adoption application and submit to adopt@bowvalleyspca.org. Upon approval you will be contacted to arrange an appointment time! You are also welcome to come visit me at the Centre during public visiting hours Wednesday-Saturday 12:00-4:00pm without an appointment.
