About Ostara

We are pleased to announce that Ostara was adopted on Dec. 27, 2023
Ostara, after struggling with some health challenges and having a very rough start in life, has finally found a loving forever home where she is a treasured part of the family. This brave cat endured a whole lot in her short life, but never again will she know anything other than the kindness and company of her new family, including 2 kitty companions! She's so lucky to have found such amazingly devoted adopters to continue to care for her ongoing challenges. We're so thrilled for this happily-ever-after for this well-deserving cat!
Hey there, I'm Ostara! You may notice I only have one eye, but hopefully you'll also notice just how adorable and loving I am! The rescue in Saskatchewan where I came from brought me back from the brink of death after I arrived with a horrible damaged and infected eye. Long story short, after discovering a piece of orbital bone nearly poking into my brain and having my eye removed, I began the road to recovery. Despite my health challenges and long recovery, I was sweet as could be and never complained about my treatments. Now, one eye less, I'm much more comfortable and glad it won't bother me anymore! Although I'm not the biggest fan of being picked up, I am a fan of attention and have a cute and quirky personality that you're sure to fall for. I am a dainty little lady who enjoys the finer things in life after experiencing so much trauma. I hope I can find a home that is quiet and loving, where I can live a peaceful life of snuggles and snacks. Can't wait!
