About Moomoo
Hi, I'm Moomoo! I arrived here with my mom and siblings, and now I'm looking for a wonderful home to join! I think you'll find me just purrfect, from my dapper tuxedo coat, outgoing and sociable nature, and young and adaptable spirit. I hope I'll have no troubles finding a great home to join! My mom and siblings are more on the shy side, but not me - I'm an extravert! I'm snuggly as can be too and love a belly rub or ear scratch. I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which you can read more about in the "care notes" below. I reaaaally hope this won't prevent me from finding an amazing home, because I'm so much more than that and will make an amazing companion for a family! I'm cute, curious, and friendly. What more could you ask for?! Come down and meet me, but be warned, you'll probably fall in love!
Dog-friendly: Untested, likely yes with slow introductions
Cat-friendly: Yes (additional considerations due to being FIV positive)
Kid-friendly: Yes
Do I Need Special Care?: I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a condition that may lead to a weakened immune system. I will need regular veterinary visits to make sure I am staying healthy. The staff can tell you more about what it means to adopt a cat that is FIV positive, but you should know that FIV positive cats can lead long and healthy lives!
Interested?! Please fill out our adoption application and submit to adopt@bowvalleyspca.org. Upon approval you will be contacted to arrange an appointment time! You are also welcome to come visit me at the Centre during public visiting hours Wednesday-Saturday 12:00-4:00pm without an appointment.
