Hi there, I'm Friskie! I arrived to the BVSPCA from a rescue in Saskatchewan after being found feral. You'll come to find that I am an affectionate and loving guy who sometimes needs a little bit of encouragement to be brave. I am extremely gentle, and have been described as a puppy dog with how I like to roll over for belly rubs and chin scratches. With people I know and trust, I love being held like a baby in your arms, and will hop up for lap snuggles. I used to be a bit standoffish with other cats, but now that I've been living in a room with other cats for some time, I have come to really enjoy the affection of other feline friends and can often be spotted curled up with or chasing around my shelter buddies. Dogs are another story, I am absolutely terrified of them, so I'd like a home without those slobbery beasts! In a home, you'll see my true colours which are sweet-natured and kind, and I can't wait to find a patient home that will let my bravery blossom!

Do I Need Special Care?: I have a history of idiopathic nystagmus (my eyes tremble for no known reason). I am not on medication currently, and do not have any negative symptoms associated with this condition, but adopters should be prepared to monitor my eyes for any changes.
