Foundation Support

  • The Calgary Foundation's Community Grants Program has provided the funds for the complete re-design of our web site.  The re-design will be mobile friendly to accomodate the huge increase (over 500%) in people accessing our web site using a mobile device.  The source code for the new platform wil

  • The Maja Foundation has provided a two grants to the Bow Valley SPCA to support our no kill, no cage mission.  In 2016 their financial grant supported our operations and in 2017 is helping us with planned rennovations to improve the quality of life for the dogs and acats in our care.

  • The Lohnes Family Fund has provided a grant to the Bow Valley SPCA to support our no kill, no cage mission.  Their financial support helps us with on-going costs medical care and behavioural training.

  • The Fancy Fund at The Calgary Foundation has again (2016) provided a grant to the Bow Valley SPCA to support dog and cat rescues in the province of Alberta with first preference to pay for extraordinary verterinary bills.

  • The Scotlyn Foundation is based in Canmore and supports the Bow Valley SPCA.

  • The McEwen Spay/Neuter Fund at The Calgary Foundation has again (2016) granted the Bow Valley SPCA funds from their Spay/Neuter Fund. Their financial support helps us with on-going costs associated with one of our core missions.

  • Community Spirit funds are provided by the Alberta Government.  The grant is based on total annual cash donations from individual Albertans that have been received by the Bow Valley SPCA over a 12-month fiscal period.
