What do cats and yogis have in common? They both love to stretch! And now they can stretch together: Introducing the Bow Valley SPCA's Cat Yoga Class led by Tara.

Register here:

Tara's yoga classes are designed for all levels - catering to all bodies from all walks to life, no experience necessary. In the class, you will learn the foundational postures to create more flexibility and comfort in the body, with options to take your practice to the next level.  This course is not only healthy and fun, it also helps to socialize and enrich the lives of the shelter cats (who will roam freely among the yogis), as well as encouraging adoption by showing off the cats' awesome personalities through interaction.

About the instructor: Tara has been teaching yoga for almost 5 years now. She has completed over 500 hours of teacher training with Power Yoga Canada and Baptiste Power Yoga Institute. In the spring of 2016, she fundraised $8000 for a service trip to Kenya to support Africa Yoga Project. She has supported this organization for years through the mentorship program and the sale of her handmade Malas. Tara also teaches Acro Yoga and SUP yoga and aerial yoga in the Bow Valley. Her classes focus on alignment, strength and flexibility and getting each student to step into their own power. She also is the face behind #52in52 – a goal setting strategy to enhance your year. She is a believer in pushing boundaries, using hugs as medicine and that everyone should go upside down at least once a day.

Please bring your mats, towels and water.

Please do not bring your own pets.
