Imagine! Tin Tin By Irene

Hi  my  name  is  TinTin. If  I  could  talk , this is the story  that  I  will  tell  you. I  ran  away  from my  owners  because  they  frightened  me  and  left  me alone  in  the  cold  rain  &  wind. I ran in a 10 foot pipe  to  save  my  life. But  that  didn’t really work, a few hours later some really big and scary people called firefighters rescued me from that pipe. They brought me to a place called the (S.P.C.A).

In that place it smelled like cats and dogs and that scared me more than anything in my cat world. I didn’t like anything there: the food, the cages and  the different smells. I wasn’t used to anything in the S.P.C.A. The people that worked in the S.P.C.A. were satisfied that I was there. There was a cat and her name was, well I don’t really remember because it was a long time a go and she was deprived of one of her eyes. She looked more frightening than all of the other cats.

People working at the SPCA did everything they could to make me feel welcome, but I was still sad. Once a very old male cat told me before dying that there were crystal sells  in our cat food. I was very scared to die like that cat but his cause of dying was from his sickness.

The next day I could smell a dead corpse of a cat in the cat hallway where all the cats that were not yet adopted lived. Oh! It was my good old friend that died last night from his sickness. They took him somewhere at 9:00 in the morning. I was very sad and I missed him a lot. I tried to make more friends ,but it didn’t work, because all of the cats were new and they were kittens. Some different people took kittens out of their cages almost every day. I was very sad.

Once I woke up in the morning and there was something strange. I couldn’t hear anything, not even a cat breath. I opened my eyes and I saw that I was the only cat in the cat hallway.

All of a sudden I heard footsteps coming towards my cage.  It was the vet.  She brought me a bowl of tasty food that was delicious and because I was all alone , she brought me a toy to play with. It was not a real mouse, but I had a lot of fun with it. That vet came to me very often, and with her ,I had a wonderful life. I am still not adopted and I hope that the vet that came to me very often will adopt me.
