Hey there, I'm Mia! Unfortunately my previous family was unable to continue to care for me, although they loved me very much. I am a sweet girl with the people that I come to trust, but I must admit I struggle to make new friends. I'm what they'd call an introvert, so I'm looking for a home that understands my demeanour and let's me come around at my own pace. I'm told communication is key, and although I am defensive of my space at first, I will tell you loud and clear if I feel like I need some space. What can I say, I'm a great communicator! I require time and patience to make new acquaintances, but you'll be rewarded by getting to see the "real me" which is affectionate, calm, and friendly. Once you're in my trusted circle, I show my affection with head butts and purrs, always craving your company. I'll even be a shoulder cat perching on you, or snuggle up in bed. I have a playful side too, which emerges when I feel fully safe and comfortable. I know it will take a special type of person to take a chance on me, but I am just a misunderstood kitty with so much love to give. Will you give me a chance?
